Brainstorming, Accountability, and Networking Group! (BANG!)

The BANG! coaching approach uses a group technique to help small business owners drive to excellent results.  You’ll meet with a group of five or six other business owners (none in your industry or specialty) for 2 hours every other week.  Facilitated and led by an A. L. Russell & Associates licensed business coach, the group members will receive and give powerful advice, expertise, and support that generate incredible momentum for each member and that member’s small business.

BANG! Origin.  A BANG! is basically a “mastermind” group, a concept first introduced by Napoleon Hill a century ago.  He specifically studied successful business people, to find their commonalities for the purpose of educating other people about the elements necessary for success.  One commonality Mr. Hill found was that ALL the successful people participated in what he termed a “mastermind” group — that is, a group of people who met regularly to help each other achieve their goals.

Why BANG! Works.  According to Mr. Hill, such groups work because “no two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third, invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”  Basically, if several intelligent people work together for the same purpose, the combined power of their brains far outweighs the power of those same brains working alone.

BANG! Process.  Your BANG! facilitator uses the basics of the mastermind group, then leads the group to another, more efficient level.  The three parts:

• Brainstorming — the basis of a mastermind group
• Accountability — brainstorming ideas turned into actions that members are accountable to the group to complete
• Networking — the natural product of getting to know fellow members very well, thereby providing opportunities to do business with and to refer each other

Value.  Because this is a group program, it’s a great value on cost alone.  More than that, it’s a great starting point if you’ve never worked with a small business coach before!
